Launched! 20-6-2016

It gives us great pleasure to announce our very first title Munch Elites!!
We have finally experienced the whole development cycle, from concept to creation and finally release. We’d like to thank everyone who helped with our development from family to our co-workers. It has been a great experience to work with you all.
Now down to the blog, apologies with the inconsistent blog posts, as a small team we can only do so much.
We learnt a lot from releasing Munch Elite, the most annoying part of releasing is finding out bit by bit what you need to do next. First its we need description, then oh, need screenshots, then privacy policy, websites. then marketing, social media posts. lists goes on….
What is easier to release on, Android or iOS?
To put it simply Android is much easier to publish a game onto the store, Uploading a build is as simple as dragging the APK to the Developer Console. Screenshots of the game the dimensions are less strict and the Google Play evaluates the product faster.
iOS has its issues, we’re currently having issues with file size being 256MB, this currently being looked at and hopefully fixed before world release before August. iOS screenshots require specific set of parameters, anything off and it wont accept. Apple use to have a 7 day wait period, thankfully recently this had been changed to 24 hr period, which is great! (we experienced 48 hrs which is still good)
Was the workload shared evenly?
We believe so,the difference from the old NSM Build to what it is now is massive. there is a huge workload between Art and Programming. Art has new UI, new foods, update sounds, particles. Programming has bug fixes, inter-grade new difficulty, game functions, store and analytics.
There is no easy way in a start up, there always something to work on, if you feel like you have nothing to do (believe me there are times where i though i wasn’t pulling my weight), then look at the whole picture and re evaluate. “finished my art asset, wait… still have marketing to do…
You are here to succeed.
If you don’t do anything, then nothing will get done
